In 2024, the total membership income of the parishes was almost exactly the same as the previous year. This year, however, membership income has shown positive development. Membership income includes parish membership fees, Mass collections, and monetary donations from parishioners.
In the first half of the year, membership income has increased in all areas compared to the previous year. Parish membership fee income has grown by 5%, monetary donations by 15%, and collections by 17%. Overall, as of mid-year, membership income is 10% higher than at the same time last year.
It is hoped that this trend will continue in the second half of the year as well. The Finance Office especially hopes that parishioners will remember to set up their parish membership fee as a regular standing order in their online banking. Regular and predictable income helps in the planning of parish finances. On the right-hand side of this spread are the account numbers of the parishes and the reference number for the membership fee.
