Through the Secretariat of State, Pope Leo XIV has thanked Bishop Raimo for the congratulations received on the occasion of his election. In the reply it is stated that the Pope “deeply appreciates” the closeness and promises of prayer expressed by Bishop Raimo on behalf of the Catholics of Finland and “cordially imparts the Apostolic Blessing … to the clergy, religious, and lay faithful” of the Diocese of Helsinki.
