The Bishop of Helsinki, Msgr. Raimo Goyarrola, has written a message for those on holiday, reminding the faithful that rest is part of the life rhythm intended by God. Vacation should not only be a break from work, but also an opportunity for holistic rest – strengthening body, mind, spirit, and family life.
In his message, the bishop encourages participation in Mass, prayer in nature, and spending unhurried time with one’s family. “Let Christ Himself give us rest,” the bishop writes.
