In August 2025, a new Catholic school will open in Helsinki, combining the strengths of the Finnish education system, the richness of multiculturalism and Catholic values. The school will provide a safe and community-based learning environment for children from all backgrounds. The school will be centrally located and easily accessible. The exact location will be known by Easter.
Why choose a Catholic school?
● Catholic values and Finnish educational tradition: the school will offer a learning environment which combines Catholic values with the valued practices of the Finnish educational system.
● Multicultural and multilingual approach: the children will learn to appreciate different cultural backgrounds, which will enrich the learning experience.
● Safe and family-oriented atmosphere: a sense of community and parental involvement play a key role in supporting children’s growth.
● After-school activities: the school will offer optional after-school activities that support children and parents with their everyday needs.
The children attending the school will be considered home-schooled until a teaching licence is granted to the school by the authorities. However, the children will be taught by a qualified teacher with a class assistant. During the home-schooling phase, the tuition fee will be €200 per semester (€400 per academic year), but sibling discounts and need-based scholarships can be negotiated.
Enrollment is now open!
Parents are encouraged to enroll their children no later than April 30, 2025. This is a unique opportunity to offer children an education which combines the excellence of Finnish education with the principles of a Catholic upbringing.
