The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Helsinki, Msgr. Raimo Goyarrola, was elected on 21 October 2025 to the Board of the Finnish Christian Medical Association (Suomen Kristillinen Lääkäriseura) for the 2026–2027 term. The association is one of the four largest medical organizations in Finland, with over one thousand members.
