In connection with the ecumenical pilgrimage to Rome, Bishop Raimo also had the opportunity to visit the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, where he met the postulator preparing the canonization cause of Blessed Hemming, Msgr. Francesco Russo (left), and the relator, Msgr. Melchor José Sánchez de Toca y Alameda (right).
According to Bishop Raimo, the meeting was fruitful, and there is reason to hope that the canonization could possibly take place as early as 2028.
