The Pope Returns Home

At a press briefing held on Saturday evening, the doctors who treated Pope Francis at the Agostino Gemelli Hospital shared joyful news: on Sunday, March 23, the Pope will be discharged and return home to Santa Marta. According to the doctors, the Holy Father has been an exemplary patient. He did not have COVID-19 and does not have diabetes. His recovery is progressing well, and after long treatment, his speech is expected to return fairly soon. However, the Pope will need a two-month period of rest and will not be able to meet with groups of people right away. The doctors noted that a hospital is not the best place for continuing recovery. Due to his age, there is a possibility of relapses.
