On Monday at 7 p.m., doctors announced that Pope Francis “continues to be fever-free and is following the prescribed medical treatment. His clinical condition remains unchanged. In the morning, he received the Eucharist and then dedicated himself to some work tasks and reading throughout the day.”
The Holy See’s press spokesman, Matteo Bruni, added that “Pope Francis is moved by the many messages of affection and closeness that he continues to receive during these hours. In particular, he wishes to express his gratitude to all those currently hospitalized for the affection and love they express through drawings and greetings; he prays for them and asks that prayers for him continue as well.”
